The Client:
Clare Sente is the founder of Empowered Enchantress where she helps women over 50 feel confident and optimistic about their bodies, themselves, and their ability to experience pleasure.
The Problem:
Shame was crippling Clare Sente’s business.
It took years – a car wreck, a divorce, and a lover for Clare Sente to understand her purpose in life was to help women learn to love themselves and experience pleasure. Though it was an incredible revelation, it was clouded by family trauma and desperation, leaving Clare wondering how she could move forward and impact lives the way she dreamed.
After her second divorce, at age 48, when most women begin feeling a slow down of libido, a lover taught her how to relax and experience orgasms in places she didn’t know she could. Inspired by the experience, she studied with a Tantra teacher to help men with erectile dysfunction by teaching them how to breathe, connect with their body, and circulate their sexual energy. Despite being good at it and helping over a thousand men reclaim their sex lives, Clare felt a deep sense of shame.
“If it was all done perfectly, there really should be no shame,” Clare said. “At the end of seven weeks, we do a role reversal where they get to practice the techniques they’ve learned on me. I’m supposed to, of course, enjoy some of it, but there were a few people where we crossed the line. Not 100 people, not even 10 people, but it happened and that’s where the shame started.”
Not long after, one of Clare’s family members was battling addiction, racking up credit card debt in her name, eventually forcing her to sell her house. She moved to a condo as a renter, but was living paycheck to paycheck.
Still, Clare dreamed of creating a business that allowed people to experience healthier, more pleasurable lives in non-traditional ways.
But with a sister as a state representative and conservative parents, Clare was afraid of bringing her family shame and being judged.
“I promised my sister I wouldn’t do anything that could possibly be turned around and used against her until she was out of public office, and then I thought I should probably wait until my mom passed to make sure I wouldn’t be shaming anyone,” Clare said. “That’s how strong all of this felt because healthy sexuality is still a taboo subject. I put off my dreams because I didn’t want to embarrass my family with a topic that really shouldn’t even be embarrassing.”
Everything changed when Clare listened to a podcast episode where Morgana shared her experience being a stripper
“She was talking about how that actually helped her to learn how to be a better businesswoman and she was utterly proud of it,” Clare said. “And that’s what locked me in because I want to be proud of what I’ve done and not ashamed. I fell in love with her right then.”
The Solution:
From their first session, Clare was blown away by how quickly Morgana was able to find the very root of her shame and start to relinquish its hold.
“She asked me a very simple question that I will never forget,” Clare said. “‘Who owns your body, Clare?’ And I had never thought of that before. It sounds simple now, but it was a huge paradigm shift. No one has the right to tell me what I get to do with my body, and that was so freeing. I couldn’t believe that was day one of working with her.”
Over months of working together, Morgana helped Clare see that how she viewed herself and the ways she thought about business were rooted in masculine and suffocating ideologies. By looking at different parts of her history, understanding the culture around her, and taking a step back to examine what she wanted to create in her life, Clare started to release shame and begin respecting herself in full – as a whole person.
“It was incredible how we were able to work both on my personal life and my business in a really fluid way,” Clare said. “Morgana was there for me in every area, and it made transitioning from in-person to online possible when COVID started.”
Right as they started to work together, the COVID lockdowns all but crumbled Clare’s in-person massage practice. With Morgana’s help, Clare was able to pivot part of her business online with a focus on helping women feel empowered in their bodies.
Clare was worried about how to offer her services, not having a website or an audience or any clue how to run a business online. Morgana shared her organic audience-building approach and her framework for creating engaged Facebook groups, and just weeks after working together, Clare was launching her beta course with several students.
“It felt so much more authentic and organic,” Clare said. “She taught me that it’s your vibe, your vibration, that will attract someone. That was something else that I never realized and changed so much for me. It was an empowered and empowering approach to business.”
When limiting beliefs and hurdles did come up – I’m not good enough, I feel so defeated, I’ll never make this work – Morgana knew exactly how to coach her through it with creative exercises and meditations.
“It was like a track and these were all hurdles I had to jump,” Clare said. “And without Morgana, one of those hurdles would’ve knocked me down, and I would have just said, ‘Oh, this is too big.’ It would have slowed me. She helps you to keep going over the hurdles in a faster and more focused way.”
The Results:
From the start, Morgana helped Clare manifest nearly $40k.
When Clare decided she wanted to work with Morgana (right around the time COVID shut down most of the United States), she wasn’t sure where the money would come from. With encouragement from Morgana, Clare began practicing a mindset of gratitude, love, and openness to being helped.
“Almost immediately, I had two former clients reach out to me and said, ‘Hey, I’m worried about you during this time. Can I send you some money?’” Clare said. “The old Clare would have said, ‘No thank you, I’m fine.’ The new Clare graciously accepted their donations, noting the amount exactly covered the investment in Morgana’s services. And then something else really wild happened.”
Over a decade before, when Clare’s wellness business was thriving she opened a retirement account and deposited $11k. When her life began unraveling after her car accident and divorce, she forgot about the account until Morgana told her to think about other places she might be able to manifest. She was stunned to find the account had grown to $30k.
“It’s one of those stories where you’re like, yeah, that person’s lying,” Clare said. “How do you not know that you have thirty grand lying around somewhere in an IRA? I did. I was one of those people!” Clare said. “I remember reaching out to Morgana and saying, ‘I just manifested the money for your services and then some.’”
After working together, Clare closed out her best year ever – despite COVID taking 60% of her income, despite pivoting online almost overnight, and despite grappling with self-doubt and shame.
“There are hundreds of these little things that happened,” Clare said. “I had one client mention offhand that he was going to a pelvic floor specialist, and I offered to help him. It turned into a $3k coaching package basically on accident.”
Clare was able to establish and grow her audience through an organic Facebook group, start a successful group coaching program, develop aligned and exciting offers, and heal the shame haunting her.
She no longer has to only rely on in-person services which can dwindle if she’s sick or wants to take a vacation. She now has options for unlimited scaling and growth.
But one of the most important things Clare said Morgana’s work brought about was the knowledge that she is enough. That she can fulfill her purpose. And that she can make an impact on the lives of women everywhere.
“When you’re doing what lights you up, when you’re aligned with what you were meant to do – it just doesn’t feel like a struggle,” Clare said. “The year 2020 felt like a tsunami came through everyone’s world, yet through Morgana’s coaching, I feel like she put me in a bubble high up in a tree. I could see what was happening, but I was safe. And because of what she did I have the energy and momentum to create even more.”
